Ishii Tenmangu Shrine
The site is also called “Minamiyama,” and Sugawara Michizane, a provincial governor, often played here and wrote poems, which are included in the "Kanke Bunso. It is said that Fujiwara no Ienari, the chief retainer of the central government, established this shrine in memory of his former residence.
