Itsukushima Shrine
The shrine was founded in Tencho 2. During the drought of the Bun'ei period, the ancestor of the Matsuura family brought back a bamboo from Itsukushima Shrine in Geishu and prayed for rain, which not only brought heavy rain but also allowed the bamboo to take root and flourish year after year.
