Sakaide City Local History Museum
坂出市郷土資料館
Built in 1919 as the Sakaide Commercial School, it was completed the following year despite experiencing a fire during construction.
The two-story wooden building features a hip-and-gable roof with a small central tower housing a siren. The foundation and central staircase are made of granite, and the building incorporates modern Taisho-era architectural elements such as shikoro walls and sliding latticed windows.
