    • As part of the Setouchi Triennale’s collaborative events, the Sakaide City Seicho hosted the “Kobe Art and Design University Art Project 2019/2022.”
The “Striped Sea” in the Kitaura area is a large mural stretching about 80 meters across the concrete sea wall.
The mural, created by artist Reika Nakayama, vividly depicts the nostalgic seaside landscape that existed before the seawall.
The term “striped” refers to layers formed by history as well as striped patterns.
