Fuchu Lake, located in Sakaide City, Kagawa Prefecture.

It’s known as a rare spot in Japan where you can enjoy canoeing year-round.
With little wind and calm waters, it’s a popular choice for beginners who want to paddle with confidence.

Before you stretches a lake surface so still, it feels like a mirror.
With each smooth stroke, gentle ripples spread across the water—and it feels as if your mind, too, slowly unwinds.
“I’m not doing much, and yet I’m really enjoying myself”—that kind of comfort lives here.

“Wait—it's really this easy?” you’ll find yourself saying in surprise.

But at Fuchu Lake, the canoe experience is open to everyone—from kids to seniors.

Before you get on the water, an instructor will carefully walk you through how to paddle, so you can feel at ease.
Once you try it, you may hear surprised reactions like, “It’s lighter than I expected!” and “Wow, it moves so easily!”

With your kids, with your partner, or with friends—there are so many ways to enjoy it.

One of the best things about this canoe experience is that it’s fun no matter who you come with.

●With your kids: Paddle together as a parent and child, and smiles come naturally—turning into memories you’ll never forget.**

●With your partner: In the quiet, with only the sound of water around you, you’ll feel closer than ever.**

●With friends: Laugh as you paddle, snap photos, and enjoy the lakeside—an easy highlight of your trip.**

●And of course, you’re welcome to come solo and simply unwind.

While you’re on the canoe, you can step away from everyday life and simply enjoy the view—and the conversation.
