INDEX
Autumn Foliage Information
– Highlights of autumn foliage at Shiromine-ji
The 81st temple of the pilgrimage, located on Mt. Shirahō in Goshikidai. The autumn foliage viewed from the main hall and bell tower is particularly beautiful.
Nine buildings, including the main hall and Tonjōjiden, are nationally designated cultural properties. The autumn colors add beauty to these historical structures, creating a spectacular autumn view.
– Highlights of autumn foliage at Negoro-ji
The 82nd temple of the pilgrimage. A thousand-year-old giant zelkova tree tells the story of the long passage of time.
The stone steps and pavements leading to the main hall reflect the changing colors of the trees through the seasons, particularly enhancing the beautiful scenery of the surrounding autumn foliage.

Guest Hall (Important Cultural Property)
A rare example of guest hall architecture in the Shikoku region, it has a high-quality interior structure designed for feudal lord visits and forms a magnificent facade along with the Onari Gate.
– Public exhibition of Important Cultural Property [Negoro-ji]
Five Great Deity Statues (Prefecturally Designated Cultural Property)
The Five Wisdom Kings associated with the temple’s founding by Kōbō Daishi: Fudō Myōō, Gōzanze Myōō, Gundari Myōō, Daiitoku Myōō, and Kongō Yasha Myōō.
The central Fudō Myōō statue is believed to be from the Nanboku-chō period, while the other four Wisdom Kings are thought to be from the Kamakura period.
