Electric Bikes Now Available!

Based on the partnership agreement with Toyota Corolla Kagawa Co., Ltd. to promote the Zero Carbon City initiative, we will begin renting electric bikes, developed by Toyota Corolla Kagawa Co., Ltd., which emit no carbon dioxide during operation, starting from March 1, 2024.

Rental Locations & Hours
Bikes must be returned to the same location where they were rented.

• Sakai City Tourist Information Center (inside JR Sakaide Station)
  9:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Available Vehicles

• Electric bikes (Type 1 motorized bicycles), 2 units each
  ・Travel range: 60 km (fully electric)
  ・Equipped with a 7-speed gear (can be used as a regular bicycle when the battery runs out)

Rental Procedure

• Download the free app "Kagawa GOGO Share" and pay via smartphone.

Required License

• Motorized bicycle license

Rental Fees

• Initial 10 minutes: 165 yen (additional 55 yen for every 5 minutes thereafter)
• Pack rates:
  ・3 hours: 1,650 yen
  ・6 hours: 3,300 yen
  ・8 hours: 3,850 yen
  ・1 day: 4,400 yen

We also provide helmets designed by Mr. Ichiro Yamaguchi, a resident of Sakai City!
These helmets are inspired by the local specialty, Obara Beniwase oranges ?.
